Xiomara MartinezApunté a mi hija al campamento de invierno de Cultural Bytes principalmente porque necesitaba cuidado durante las vacaciones. Él ya habla español, así que no tenía muchas expectativas… y la verdad es que me sorprendió muchísimo. Todos los días regresaba contento, hablando de lo que había hecho y con ganas de volver al día siguiente. Las actividades estaban súper bien pensadas, eran divertidas pero también lo retaban, sin sentirse como “clases”. Hicieron muchas actividades tanto adentro como afuera, y aunque era un campamento de enriquecimiento, también fomentaban la lectura y la escritura de una forma muy natural. Creo que funciona perfecto tanto para niños que ya hablan español como para los que están aprendiendo. Definitivamente lo recomiendo. Nosotros seguro regresamos para el campamento de los sábados y ya estoy tratando de acomodar mi agenda para el campamento de verano.😄Posted on Google
Claire de Dobay RifeljMy 7-year-old daughter attended 4 weeks of Spanish Summer Camp with Cultural Bytes and had a wonderful time. She has a little Spanish at school, but we were still nervous about how she would take to it especially not knowing anyone else there. After the first day, she seemed perfectly happy to go back, which is our sign that things are going well. We were always greeted at drop offs with huge smiles and excited welcomes, and our daughter always seemed cheerful and well-exercised at pick-up — she loved the water play days and at the end of her time at Cultural Bytes many projects and worksheets came home so we could see some of the things she had been up to. Patricia Marie MillerWe sent our daughters here for two weeks of the Summer camp session. Our girls (ages 9 and 7) enjoyed the camps activities and learned a ton of vocabulary. Ms.Jackie and the other teachers welcomed them each morning and walked them out to my car at pick up with a nice review of the days activities. Ana IsidoroMy two sons joined the Spanish immersion camps this summer and they loved it. They had a great time, made many new friends, and had wonderful experiences. The camp was very far from our home and that still didn’t make them any less excited about attending every day. The staff were very nice and attentive. Both my sons are on the spectrum and they were still made to feel welcome and included. They boys feel more comfortable using words in Spanish and their curiosity has been activated because even now after the camp has ended, they ask me for the Spanish words of new things they encounter, which never happened before this camp. Emily Lytle-PainterMy kids attended two weeks of Spanish camp this summer and had such a great time. It was a long drive for us but I wanted to prepare my 5 year old for starting Spanish immersion DLI kindergarten this fall with some exposure to hearing the language. So we made the trek, and it was so worth it! The kids had fun learning about Latin American cultures, lots of songs and games, and water play every day. April MimsMy 6 year-old daughter went to summer camp here for 2 weeks with her friend and loved it. My child did not speak any Spanish going in, and she was welcomed with open arms. Señora Jackie and the other camp leaders care about the kids and go above and beyond to give them lots of fun activities and games to fill the day. They even met my daughter at our car every morning, even on mornings when we were late (which happened quite a bit)! Check out this lovely program for your kiddos. You won’t regret it!
